Homework Assignment

Hi Parents and Students,

"Camp for All" was a success!  I enjoyed seeing the kids excited about the various activities (paintball, ziplining, fishing, to name a few).  They did an amazing job challenging themselves and encouraging each other along the way.  What a great experience to share this with them!  Below are a few pictures of the fun that we had together.

Here are the homework assignments for the week.

Science: Due- Friday, 3/1/13
1. Simple Machines- Read the passage and answer the questions that follow. 

Social Studies: Due- Friday, 3/1/13
1.  Label the states on the U.S.A. map.  See how many you can do on your own and then complete the rest by checking with a map.

Homework Assignment

Hi Parents and Students,

Our science field trip on Friday was a success!  The weather was perfect and students enjoyed the different exhibits and planetarium show. 
This Friday morning, middle school students will be visiting Main Street Theater to see "A Wrinkle in Time." 

Here are the homework assignments for the week.

Science: Due- Friday, 2/15/13
1.  Planet Riddles- Use your planet notes (planet webquest, planet table) to answer the planet riddles.

Social Studies: Due- Friday, 2/15/13
1.  Midwest region map- Label the states in the midwest.  You do not need to label the capitals.
2. West region map- Label the states in the west.  You do not need to label the capitals.

Homework Assignment

Hi Parents and Students,

We are excited about our very first Science field trip of the year!  Middle school students will be going to the Museum of Natural Science this Friday, 2/8/13.  Please make sure your child has a sack lunch and turns in their permission slip.

Here are the homework assignments for the week.

Science: Due- Monday, 2/11/13
1.  Solar System Mobile- Make a mobile of the Solar System that shares a cool fact about each 
     planet.  You can use your notes from class (planet web quest, planet table, etc) for your facts or
    you can find new facts online. You have the choice of using the planet cards provided by me or
    creating your own "planets"  (as long as you provide an important fact for each planet).

Social Studies: Due- Friday, 2/8/13
1. We will be researching the south region in class on Monday and Tuesday.  If it is not finished by  the end of class on Tuesday, it will be homework.

   ** You may use other sites online, but make sure it is a reliable source.  Please don't forget to add it to your bibliography page. 
2. Study for NE region quiz which will be given on Thursday, 2/7.
